Woo hoo~~~

Mummy's back from torondo!!! haha.. she bought me a super ex coach handbag!!! OMG.... luv her sia.. she bought back many chocs and foodie oso... She spent loads over there!!! wahaha... oh btw.. her luggage was spoiled on the second day!! (coz all planes gg to USA arent supposed to haf locked luggage.. unless ur luggage is those that is ext lock compatible.. luckily her stuff din scatter when they threw her luggages here n there.. phew) Mummy oso say the Nigara Falls wasnt as magnificent as wat we saw in jiu zai gou (Pearl waterfall)..

I am gg for an interview on wed.. hope everything will turn out well... Anw, I manage to get an additional invitation card for my commencement.. den jh will be able to attend.. she wont need to watch e webcast le.. haha.. yeah!!

Yay..

Mummy will be coming back in few hrs time... so miss her.. hehe..

Oh btw, these few days.. I watched forensics heroes 2, the master of Tai chi and the silver chamber of sorrow and a journey called life... the latter was so so.. but the former (first 3) were great tvb series!!! love them!! 3 cheers to tvb dramas.. wahaha..

Gonna watch Death Investigation Extension liao.. haha... Muz quickly watch as many tvb series as possible.. since i am free now.. haha.. muz compensate the 3 yrs of hard work in uni... wahaha... (I am a tvb addict yeah?? haha)

Academic dress

Did a psychometric test in the morning.. so many qns to do in a limited time period.. i am seeing stars after the test.. gosh.. it sure tired me out sia..

Went to sch in the afternoon to get my academic dress.. sigh sigh... i kind of regret renting it.. coz the grad robes are kind of old.. the hooks are spoiled and white patches could be seen on it.. haiz.. but den again.. its a waste to buy it too.. unless i wanna try to be harry potter at home.. haha..

I spent more than 3 hrs in sch juz for this.. wat a waste of time.. and its heavy lor..

Anw looking forward to 9th July.. 10am.. my commencement day.. wahaha.. oh btw.. i am sitting few seats away from buddy.. tts good.. hehe..

my job hunting continues........ buddy says having an econs degree is hard to find a job.. I agree wif her!!! sianz..

Back to reality (19/06/08)

Woke up at 4am to send mummy to the airport.. (now its mummy's turn to fly liao..) haha.. she is gg to torondo(canada) for 10 days..

Back to reality.. all my troubles and worries are back.. I am frictionally unemployed!!! when when when!!! when will i be able to find a good job (did i sound like i am desperate??)? where and wat kind of jobs to apply? when will i be able to find a bf of my dream? etc etc.. sigh.. how i wish i am still a student.. den i wont be vexed over those matters.. lady luck.. pls be wif me... i desperately need u and ur help!!!

Received a sms from mum.. she reached torondo le.. Omg.. it took her 30 hrs to reach torondo??? (although she took 3 connecting flights).. gosh.. I almost fainted upon seeing her sms.. I cant imagine myself having to spend 30hrs on the plane.. the thot of it send shiver down my spine liao.. ugh.. i cant even tahan a 4 hrs flight journey liao.. there goes my plan to canada!!

Day 12 -- 18/06/08

Mr sun reported today.. why cant it report yest?? den our trip to ocean park wont be a waste.. Anw, we headed straight to the airport.. reached the hk int airport at around 1145.. our flight was 1415.. way too early ya... as it wasnt time to check in our baggages, we sat there to chit chat... sth hilarious happened.. at around 1230.. i sense sth was wrong.. how could the belt be not open yet? I den realise all the while, we haf been looking at the wrong screen... diao.. rushed to check in and all.. we din manage to get seats together.. well done rite? we reached the airport so early.. yet couldnt sit together on the plane.. In the end, we manage to sit together though..
The plane (Cathay pacific) we took back home was small.. initially i was feeling alright but after an hr or so.. it met lots of turbulence.. my air sickness came back.. headache, stomach upset blah blah blah!!! i swear its terrible.. i envy pple who dun haf this prob.. and maybe its juz me.. my prob..

Anw.. we landed at around 545pm.. back home.. safe and sound.. (xt's dad gave her the zui hun call again).. wahaha.. This marks the end of my grad trip.. Overall, the trip has been very enjoyable.. though there were spoilers.. Afterall, it was fun.. esp wif xt around.. Glad to be home (Sg is the place where i am proud to call home).. though i will definitely miss tw n hk.. I look forward to another holiday trip.. hehe

Became santa clause when i reached home.. gave mummy, daddy and xiao mei their gifts...

Day 11 -- 17/06/08

We reached Ocean Park at around 10am.. Its raining again.. sigh.. after getting our tix.. we went in from the entrance at the lowland... wanted to buy a raincoat.. but it cost about S$10.. quite a waste to throw 10 bucks away after using it once rite?? haha.. we decided not to buy since we had umbrellas wif us.. We saw the Sky star (hot air balloon) we wanted to try.. but it was closed due to the bad weather.. sigh.. took a few pics and we took the cable car up to the highland for breakfast.. on our way up, it rained so heavily!!! We had fastfood for brunch.. fried chicken wif fries.. under the rain.. we are so drenched lor...

As it was still pouring, we went to the Atoll reef, shark aquarium, jelly fish spectacular.. we rested for quite some time at the Japanese garden.. we were all wet!! from head to toes.. very very drenched... so er xin n uncomfortable..

We went up on the Ocean park tower... walked around the highland under the rain.. I saw many thrilling rides that I planned to try!! too bad.. most of the rides were closed due to the bad weather.. rain rain.. pls go away.. come again another day can?? I wanted to try the dragon, mine train, the eagle, Skystar, raging river.. Anw.. i did try the crazy galleon and the flying swing... so sad.. we simply wasted our HK$320 (~S$60 plus).. sigh..

While we took the long escalator down to the exit, I took a few photos.. nice scenery..





As we were still early.. we waited for more than an hr for the coach to come.. kinda being punished as we had to stand throuhout the 1 hr plus as all the seats were so wet!! we cant wait to have a nice shower!!! 天不作美... It rained continuously from 8 plus in the morning till late night...

B4 gg back to the hotel, we went to nv ren jie again to get few boxes of lao po bing (from heng xiang), a belt and a few spagetti..

Day 10 -- 16/06/08

Woke up at 6am.. no time for breakfast so we juz da bao mac... we headed toward Taoyuan airport to board the plane to hong kong.. our flight was 10.15am.. we bid good bye to taiwan.. and off we go to hk.. Upon reaching hk, we met our tour guides.. waited for everyone and after tt, we were sent to dorset seaview hotel.. Took some pics on our way to the hotel.. As land is scare in hk, there were many high rise buildings which looks like condo.. nice designs.. btw Its drizzling..

Our room is so small.. they really do haf land constraint ya.. haha.. we hardly had space to walk after laying our luggage flat.. but at the second thought, both of us thot it was quite cute.. haha..

In the late afternoon, we went out to 女人街. took some pics along the way.. The streets in hk was abit messy as compared to taipei.. and there is oso communication barriers.. although i noe abit of canto.. but i dun not speak.. afraid tt my pronounication would be wrong.. haha.. we walked round.. asked for directions and manage to find 女人街. It was supposed to be 20mins away from our hotel.. we took more than 45 mins to find our way there.. The streets at 女人街 was cramp.. kinda like shihlin ye shi.. the stuff they sell are more fashionable, modern n they have nicer designs.. we regretted buying some stuff from taipei.. haha.. bags and clothes in hk are nice.. but i haf to refrain myself from buying them.. my luggage is really till the very brim liao... i so wanted to get the von dutch pink or purple handbag and the white handbag tt xt got last yr from hk... sigh!!! so sad.. i din get them in the end.. there goes my bag!!!

oh sth interesting.. whenever they quote u a px and u wanna walk away, the stall owners will auto reduce their px de.. haha.. somehow they are good at closing a deal.. haha.. i bought a tank top for mum and a top for myself.. We headed back to the hotel as it started to drizzle again.. tvb series.. here i come.. haha.. we had tw pai gu cup noodles for dinner.. delicious.. We slept at around 9 plus.. early rite?? haha.. being a tv addict, i actually din finish watching fa zheng xian feng and went to sleep.. tt showed how exhausted i was..

Day 9 -- 15/06/08

Our second last day in taipei.. we woke up at 9.. had mac breakfast as our hotel has alliances wif mac.. den we headed for Ximending.. we took the tapei metro from beitou to taipei main station and change to danshui line to take to ximen station.. It was said that ximending is a muz visit place if one goes to taiwan.. so we planned to shop there.. we reached there at about 11am.. many shops werent open yet.. it was hot... as we walked along the streets.. we went into a few shops.. for the same quality and design, the stuff at ximending was tripple the px of the station front metro mall.. Xt bought a monkey pencil case and i got 2 cute coin pouch for my little cousins.. After shopping for around an hr and a half.. (as most shops are still not open yet), we decided to go back to the station front metro mall.. We shopped and bought things like nobody's business.. haha.. The heels there are nice and cheap.. it cost around S$20 onli.. We shopped till around 3.30 and within this short 2 hrs.. we had many many bags wif us.. As xt needed panadol and we cant possibly carry so many things to the next destination, we headed back to our hotel.. Went back there to get some stuff and met xiao gu and xiao shu shu at taipei 101 buikding (taipei city hall oso at danshui line).. We had Thai food for dinner.. though the fish gravy was sour and spicy.. its indeed nice.. haha.. we had curry, tom yam soup, prawns and some veg.. sumptuous dinner..

After dinner, we took a cab to wu fen pu (五分埔).. which is a wholesales center selling clothes.. The clothes there are free size and we cant try on them.. Xt and I bought a few clothes onli.. coz the clothes there din really grab our attention.. the clothes there are mostly for youngsters (age 18??) haha.. i bought a top for jh, 1 dress and 1 top for myself.. so dissapointing coz my mission to tw was supposed to be buying lots of clothes.. haha.. i ended up buying lots of gifts for my family, relatives and friends.. not forgetting myself too.. but i bought way too little clothes!!! sigh.. xt oso.. haha.. We had mango iced (芒果冰) for dessert.. thumbs up!!! its very nice.. one wont regret trying it.. yummy (salivating..), I tried raspberry iced too.. but mango iced was nicer.. haha.. xiao gu and xiao shu family left at around 10 as the kids were tired.. we continued shopping for awhile.. we got ourselves a belt and xt got herself another top which she like it very much.. As most of the shops were closed.. we left at around 10.30.. it took us more than an hr to reach our hotel... wat a tired day.. we went shopping for the whole day!!! but at least our last 3 days at taipei was fruitful!! we managed to sweep out many stuff.. 好有满足感 wor.. We spent alot on transportation too.. haha.. travelling to and fro by mrt..



haha.. although we had satisfaction from those buyings (except the clothes part).. the ma fan part came.. how to squeeze all those into our luggage... very problematic.. haha.. luckily we brought a large luggage.. mentioned to squeeze everything in after repeated repacking.. See the no of shopping bags we had.. tts like half of wat we bought only.. haha.. Shopping queens? NO... we bought gifts for many pple ok.. more than 3/4 of the stuff i bought is not for myself.. wahaha.. we still haf some NT left.. haha.. after bathing and all.. it was around 2.30am liao.. super tired.. I actually slept earlier than xt!! woah.. first time.. haha.. we had to wake up at 6am tmr morning...

Btw.. as i recalled.. we actually tried out most transportation tools in tw.. bullet train, mrt, (shuttle) bus, taxi(yellow cab) and private car.. wahaha..
