The beach at Kenting looks like Australia's Bondi beach.. Many pple were suntanning, picnicing, playing sea sports.. Scenery was great but weather was freaking hot!!! 32 degree celcius... gosh.. I din apply sun block.. (i din apply yest but weather was fine.. regretted not to...), i wore a black top, black pants and on top of tt, i wore a cardigarn.. tts maddness!!! i swear i was sweating profusely.. Mr Sun is gonna kill me man... xt and me look like some alien.. wearing this kinda attire when its 32 degree.. like how we noe rite?? haha... However, the sun din stop us from taking photos.. haha.. i juz luv the beach so much so that i would rather get sun burnt!!! haha.. See the huge boulder lying in the sea? xt and I actually wan to climb to the top for a pose in front of the cam.. wahaha... nvm xt.. next time ya??? haha.. The shophouses, hotels and residental areas had such anice view... Their architecture was so European style..
After taking some many pictures under the hot blazing sun, we ran into the car for air con and water.. haha... Next stop was Oluanpi (er lan pi) National park... We walked uphill and saw the big lighthouse.. After tt, we walked further and saw the symbol of Kenting National park (which comprises of blue sky, white clouds, mountains and the oceans.) indicating a warm weather throughout the yr.. I am someone who luv a combi of those 4 items.. wahaha... Under the hot sun, we walked towards the seashore... After 15-20 mins, we finally see the seashore.. wahaha.. a nice sea, with coral gardens and a wooden bridge were presented in front of us... Mr sunshine... pls hide among the clouds for juz awhile.. can u?? haha.. u are making us sweat like hell... we cant enjoy that nice view peacefully!!! After walking across the long bridge, we had to walked uphill, under Mr sunshine's "canopy" to reach the carpark.. oh god... We desperately need icy cold water and air con.. My whole face is turning into a lobster liao... (according to xt.. ) haha...
After the afternoon tedious walk/ exercise and sweating, we went to a air-con cafe for lunch!!! we ordered a chicken chop meal. The chicken chop hotplate + free flow of ice cream, drinks, bread, salad and soup cost only 200 NT (~S$9.2).. super cheap lor!!!! Its yummy too... the portion was big too... we had ice cream after tt... (xt actually forgot she wasnt suppose to take lactose related stuff)... We sat at the cafe for qt some time as we were kinda unwilling to get into the sun again!!!
At around 2.30pm... our next stop was Kenting national forest recreational area. We were given around 2 hrs to explore the place ourselves.. (where is the tour guide?? arent he supposed to bring us around??? wanna bully us izzit??? lazy bum..) It was a long way in.. and there were signs everywhere stating " beware of poisonous snakes and centipedes"... We explored the Stalagmite Cave.. it was qt eerie... haha.. very dark and "desserted"... we still made our way down the cooling cave... nothing much actually.. not very impressive.. haha... While xt was resting, I looked around and took some photos of the cactus greenhouse, some plantations etc.. we walked further to the sea viewing platform... kinda dissapointed again... wasted our energy climbing up sia!!! haha.. on our way down, we heard others say so too... haha.. 2 sticky ah mas are seriously tired liao.. and time is almost up... we had to leave liao.. cant explore anymore... this Kenting national park is indeed large!!!
The next stop was the famous Maopitou where rugged coastline's major attraction is the twisted coral formations... thanks to the ice cream we had juz now (or maybe its the lingzhi)... xt missed all these...
Saw the cat rock (30% reality, 70% imagination)... haha... It is bordered on 3 sides by water, the Pacific Ocean (to the east), Bashi channel (to the south) and Taiwan Strait (to ther west).. The heat was really unbearable... i brought my umbrellas wif me... (super auntie ya.. haa)... i had to forcefully smile and open my eyes in front of the cam... see the ugly me in the pics below.. haha..
In the late afternoon, we went to guan shan... was supposed to enjoy the beautiful scenery of sunset there, but we were told by the tour guide that we had to wait for at least 1-2 hrs b4 the sun will set... pengz rite... We decided to give the sunset a miss and quickly check in at Kenting holiday hotel.. Dinner tonight was supposed to be on our own expenses and according to the itinenary, we could find lots of food at the kenting street (da jie).. The hotel is actually 90km away from the Kenting street... hello??? the agency's arrangement is so bad lor... luckily the tour guide is nice... he will bring us there...
After our nice shower, we met the tour guide at the lobby for him to bring us to the place for dinner... He gave us 2 options.. either kenting street (which we had our lunch there in the noon) or some eating street... We chose the latter... and kinda regretted coz the road to the eating street was so dark, ulu and quiet.. not a single soul around.. Xt suddenly asked me:" will the tour guide con us somewhere sell us away?" haha... we are armed wif hp gunshot ringtone, whistle and water bottle... kiasu, imaginative pple ya.. can be directors liao.. or watch too many shows liao.. wahaha... (but better to be safe than sorrie ma...).. We had wanton noodle for dinner.. After tt, we went to 7-11 to get oursleves cup noodles as we heard tt tw's cup noodle is yummy.. haha..
Oh ya.. sth scary happen again... It happen once in the hotel in Korea.. now it happen again in tw kenting... the tv auto switch on in the middle of the night at around 4am... sending shiver down my spine.. i dare not move n couldnt get into sleep.. so tempted to wake xt up... but decided not to... haha... see i am a kind soul ya.. wahaha

Going to Kenting was one of the my favourite days..so many nice sceneries and i like their beach. Too bad no chance to try their watersports. Nvm..next time, if there's a chance.
*note: The many mosquito/bug bites which i got from Kenting National Park have not fully healed =(
yup yup.. tts one of my fav too!!! luv tt place so much... ya the watersports and daytona too.. nvm next time ya.. its a deal..
